In response to the agunah problem, leading rabbis across America and Israel encourage all Jewish couples to sign a prenuptial agreement prior to their wedding. Although for the majority of couples this agreement will never need to be used, its universal institution is necessary for it to truly be successful, and to be helpful for those couples who may need it.  As a matter of public policy, ORA strongly encourages all couples to sign this agreement.
